ABOUT US
Jim Seweryn

Jim is now enjoying going on his 29th year being involved in the oil and gas industry. He began his career in 1978 when he started working on the drilling rigs in Northern Alberta as a roughneck working his way into a drilling position and continued to do so up to 1983 when he left the drilling rigs to get more involved in the service divisions of the oil and gas industry. Jim then went on to work for a company known at that time as Homco where he was in charge of dispatching and maintenance of fishing tools as well as wireline assistant until the company pulled out of Calgary due to slow economic times. He then went to work for a company known to the oil and gas industry as Ceda Reactor which he started at the bottom and worked his way up to operating and supervising shut downs throughout Western Canada. This gave him exposure to wellsite facilities, the tar sands in both Syncrude and Suncor, gasplants, as well as oil and gas refineries. This was great exposure regarding operations and safety procedures in the downstream oil and gas industry. Jim then went consulting in the oil and gas industry up to current where he formed Tectonic Energy Consulting Inc. We are now operating with experienced drilling and completion supervisors as well as offering experienced wellsite geologists. Jim continues to expand his knowledge in the ever intriguing oil and gas industry and looks forward to working along side you within a demanding and challenging industry.
