Tectonic Energy Consulting Inc. is pleased to present our Environmental Protection Services for the purpose of protecting water fowl against the damaging effects of inhabiting produced water recycling pits.

Our solutions aim to mitigate the risks that open air pits present to wildlife and specifically waterfowl. These include the damaging effects to water fowl through skin absorption; loss of life resulting from ingestion; and irreversible health effects to water fowl and other animals that may come into contact with them in the food chain.

Through our unique services we will support your company’s due-diligence practices at ensuring environmental protection and minimizing adverse impacts to wildlife in your operations areas. Through the use of our specialized equipment – including propane-concussion; electronic acoustic deterrent systems; predator effigies; lasers and flares – all capable of remote or radar-detection activation – we are able to manage and mitigate contact and exposure of wildlife with tailings ponds.

Frequently, our Security Services Division provides these services as part of their typical perimeter and site monitoring functions, and they are trained in both the operation of this equipment as well as all industry and legislated licenses and certifications. Typically, our staff will provide professional monitoring of all pits within a continuous direct line of sight in a given area for 1 hour prior to sun up to 1 hour past sun down, plus allowance of travel time to and from site.

As required by legislation and industry regulations, all of our security guards will hold the appropriate licenses and certificates as needed:
